5 step dental implant process
Planning
First, we take a 3D x-ray to evaluate your jaw and anatomy to determine suitability and placement of implants.
Scanning
Next, we use a state-of-the-art digital scanner to scan an impression of your mouth to make a computer generated guide.
Placement
On the day of the surgery a dental implant guide is placed to direct our instruments where to place the implant.
Healing
After successful placement there is a healing period of 3-6 months, which ensures your body accepts the implant.
Crown
Finally, a digital impression of the implant is taken for the lab to make an implant crown. Once crown is received we make sure it fits perfectly.
Will insurance cover dental implants?
Unfortunately, most plans do not cover implants. While dental implants are the newer, better treatment option for most patients, most insurance companies haven’t kept pace. However, if you’re unsure let us know and we’ll reach out to your insurance provider on your behalf. In-house treatment plans are also available.
