Does My Insurance Cover it?
Coverage does not mean what you think it means.
With dental insurances only a few procedures are covered at 100%
Most are covered at a percentage and the rest are your responsibility
If you are a member of the plans we are in-network with, for whatever procedures you need we will send a pre-authorization to your insurance company, and then they will decide if it will be covered or not.
Often times your insurance company will not see what we see, and deny requests because “they” don’t see the clinical necessity. At that point you can choose to proceed with the recommended treatment or ignore it because your insurance company doesn’t believe you need it.
